The Outdoor Measurement System Conversion Kit provides protection from the elements and rechargeable batteries for extended operation of the SoundPro.

The kit includes:

  • A waterproof lockable case
  • Rechargeable batteries with battery monitor
  • Charging adapter
  • Stainless steel mast sections
  • Windscreen
  • Cables
The waterproof case holds the meter and battery pack with room for accessories and storage of the system components when not in use.

Battery Life

  • Standard 057-830 Kit:  Typically 3.5 days (84 hours) without optional plug-in accessories in the meter
  • Standard 057-830 Kit with Optional Additional 057-242 Battery Pack:  Typically 7.0 days (168 hours) without optional plug-in accessories in the meter

Battery Recharge Indicators

  • Yellow LED – Charging
  • Green LED – Finished Charging
  • Blinking LED – Charging Problem

Battery Recharge Rate & Time

  • Charging rate of 5 amps
    • 8.4 hours typical for one fully discharged battery pack (42 amp-hours / 5 amps)
    • 16.8 hours typical for two fully discharged battery packs (84 amp-hours / 5 amps)

Battery Storage

  • Recharge of batteries in storage recommended at least every 12 months or when open circuit voltage drops below 12.00 volts per battery; check more frequently if storage temperature exceeds 25° C (77° F)
